The show will be hosted in the outstanding grounds of Hagley Park – right in the heart of the city. Christchurch offers a great range of accommodation options within the central city so walking to the show is your best bet. Make sure you walk from the Christchurch Cathedral (see the 20th anniversary Floral Carpet) down the Cultural Precinct on the way to the show.

Parking for the Show will be available on the soccer fields adjacent to the Show site. Entry to this parking will be along Harper Ave, please follow roadside signage and the traffic wardens will be there to help you park, please follow their instruction.
Parking will be $5.00.
Parking will be provided for Disabled Parking Permit holders, entry to this parking is via Harper Ave, please follow roadside signage and traffic wardens.
Biking to the Show
As well as the Garden City Christchurch is also known as the ‘home of cycling’ with its luxurious flat roads, dedicated cycle lanes and recently upgraded cycling routes.
What better way to beat the traffic and see the City at your own leisurely paces than by cycling to the EIFS?
EIFS offers premium cycle parking at both entrances (off Harper Ave and at the Armagh Street Bridge)

Take it Easy - Take the Bus
Take the bus to Ellerslie International Flower Show for a convenient, stress-free visit to New Zealand’s premium garden event.
Our friendly Metro drivers are happy to help new users, and you don’t need the right change.
A Metrocard will save you at least 25% off cash fares. Get one from the city Bus Exchange on Lichfield St.
SuperGold card holders travel free on Metro buses from 9am – 3 pm and after 6pm daily. Simply present your card to the driver as you board the bus.

The Christchurch Tramway
The Tram will be running a special Garden City Tram throughout the inner city – en route to Hagley Park! Be sure to hop on board and take in the fascinating commentary on the Cultural Precinct and heritage of Hagley Park. Special packages and tickets will be on offer closer to the time – we’ll keep you updated.
