Grants

Whilst there are many things that contribute to the final standard of a display, one significant component is the budget. It is essential that all exhibits at Ellerslie International Flower Show are of a significantly high standard, to facilitate this ‘seed’ grants are provided.

  • ·        To facilitate a high standard of exhibit, the Gardens Event Trust Board provides ‘seed’ grants to Exhibitors. All horticultural exhibitors other than Retail Gardens are eligible for a grant. A grant is deemed to be approved once an application for a site has been accepted.
  • ·        The size of the grant allocated depends on each exhibition category and the size of the exhibit (as set out in the Exhibition Categories section).
  • ·        Exhibitors will need to invoice Ellerslie International Flower Show to receive the grant. This can be done through the exhibitors existing invoice format. Alternatively the form below can be completed and sent in.
  • ·        Generally grant applications will be paid on the 20th of the following month, payments starting from Jan 20th 2012.   In exceptional circumstances it may be possible for an earlier grant payment to be made. Please apply directly to the Exhibition Manager in this instance.
  • ·        No site for which a grant has been approved may cancel. In the event that the exhibitor to whom the site grant has been made should fail to exhibit or fail to exhibit to a standard acceptable to EIFS Management, the exhibitor will refund the grant in full to EIFS Management.
  • ·        For the first time this year EIFS is also offering a ‘Travel Grant’ to those exhibiting from a distance. Please contact the Exhibition Manager for further detail
