A Fantasy of Wearable Flowers and Fruit

Jenny Gillies Secret Garden:

Jenny Gillies presents her new wacky, wild and wonderful costume art portraying a potpourri of wild flowers, weeds, flowering fruit and vegetables set against a background of a secret walled garden and her take on Mr McGregor's vegetable patch from The Tale of Peter Rabbit, as well as a collection of her Australian floral icons specifically made for the 2009 Royal Adelaide Show.

Floral costumes on mannequins will provide an unique opportunity for viewers to see this exciting collection close up with all the intricacies of construction which go to produce these amazing works of art.
